We are thrilled to share with you the great news. EnergySpin is welcoming on board a new corporate partner VEO!
Over the past year, EnergySpin has successfully brought international startups from all around the world to the biggest energy hub in Europe, EnergyVaas. We have completed 2 rounds of the accelerator program; hosted numerous events to connect corporates and startups in the energy sector, and now we are welcoming new partner on board of this incredible multi-corporate ship.
As Visa Yliluoma, the Executive Vice President of VEO explains: “VEO has started as a spin off and transformed own products and world class project management into a package that customers value. We feel and know the challenges startups have and we are ready to guide them on their journey with our knowhow and experience, so we can learn from each other. “
2017 was a very successful year for VEO involving finalization of acquisition, internationalization and great internal growth. Transformed from a small company to a corporate, VEO is ready to grow even more. Part of their strategy lies in a collaboration and incorporation of groundbreaking trends and innovations. VEO sees the great potential for innovation and growth that startups can bring and believes that joining the EnergySpin program is the best possible way to harvest this potential.
After being impressed by the program, VEO has decided to join the forces with other energy industry leaders and start collaborating with startups through EnergySpin program.
From spring 2019, VEO will officially become a partner to EnergySpin accelerator program, working side by side with Danfoss, The Switch, Wärtsilä, Vaasan Sähkö and other corporate partners to spin the energy industry to the next level. They will open their doors to the most promising startups with the potential to stir the energy industry, they will give them the chance to take part in the accelerator program and possibly work together on joined projects.
The operational manager of EnergySpin, Marko Koski, believes that “VEO will further empower EnergySpin and spin the accelerator program to even higher frequency. “
