EnergySpin at the Vantaa Energia Startup Scouting Forum 18th November 2025

EnergySpin joined the Vantaa Energia Startup Scouting Forum on 18 November, hosted by Business Vantaa. The evening brought together smart energy startups, investors and one of Finland’s most innovative energy companies.

Marko Koski presented EnergySpin’s accelerator programme for energytech startups and the cooperation opportunities within the EnergyVaasa cluster, the largest energy technology hub in the Nordics. He also highlighted the Hard2Scale project, an EU acceleration programme matching startups with industrial partners in hard-to-abate sectors.

The programme also featured Petri Penttinen (Vantaan Energia) on piloting and cooperation opportunities, and Matti Härkönen (Innovestor) on early-stage investment decision-making. The highlight of the night was the pitching session, where 10 selected smart energy startups pitched to an expert panel from Vantaa Energy, Innovestor, EnergySpin and Sisu Factory – each receiving direct feedback from the board. The evening closed with networking and an expert panel discussion.

Events like this are exactly what EnergySpin is about: connecting ambitious energy startups with the corporates, investors and ecosystems that help them scale. Thanks to Business Vantaa, Vantaan Energia, Innovestor and the Sisu Factory team – we’ll see many of these startups again.
